| Title: | NoSQL Deep Dive |
| Summary: | NoSQL is a general name for a new type of database—one that throws away the relational model in favor of simplicity and scalability. This presentation aims to give you everything you need to know before adopting a NoSQL solution for your business. This session will review the concepts behind NoSQL databases, which problems it was designed to solve, when does it make sense to use it, and how to do so safely and effectively. The session will focus on Oracle's NoSQL database announced in OpenWorld 2011 and will discuss the algorithms and design patterns it uses to provide high availability and scalability. |
