| Biographical Sketch: | Simon Pane is an Oracle Certified Professional, Oracle Certified Expert, Oracle ACE, and a member of several formal industry and community Advisory Boards. Working with the Oracle database since version 7 to the most current releases. Simon works with Oracle and PostgreSQL on a daily basis as a Principal Consultant for Pythian, with a focus on database security, cloud implementations, and migrations. | ||
| Accomplishments: | Simon enjoys sharing technical knowledge and has presented at almost every major conference in North America and Europe including at Oracle OpenWorld and COLLABORATE many times. This includes five past in-person presentations at previous RMOUG Training Day events. Simon completes more than a dozen in-person and remote presentations per year to user groups around the world, and is a winner of the UKOUG overseas new speaker and IOUG SELECT Journal awards. |
