Summary: | Most of Oracle's Database customers in the US are now required to implement Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) but there are not GPS coordinates to assist in mapping NIST 800-207, NIST 800-171, and numerous other documents to specific configuration parameters. This technical session will assist Oracle DBAs, Developers, and Information Security professionals in turning ZTA rules into specific actions they can take to meet these requirements and better secure their data and their databases. |

Biographical Sketch: | Oracle ACE Director Alum Daniel Morgan is current Technical Director for Database Security at Oracle. Morgan, best known for his Morgan's Library website, is a retired Adjunct Professor from the University of Washington who has spoken at hundreds of technical conferences in 45 countries since 2008, at OpenWorld many times, at RMOUG in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2016, and now focuses his efforts on helping Oracle's database customers reduce the attack surface of their databases through optimized configuration. | ||||
