Summary: As more and more organizations desire to migrate their Oracle EBS (and non Oracle workloads) applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure there are opportunities to clean-up (purge and archive) data to minimize the initial cloud footprint. This session will discuss various options throughout the Oracle EBS applications, and Oracle technology, that will help in the clean-up process. Biographical Sketch: Bill is a very well-known Oracle Applications and Technology consultant having worked with Oracle products since 1985, and Oracle eBusiness Suite Applications since 1991, and Cloud Applications since their inception. His extensive experience with Oracle applications and technology makes him a trusted adviser to many clients throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. Bill has worked in many consulting and IT capacities over the years leading and architecting many complex on-premise and cloud projects.

Bill has presented white papers, and workshops, at many local and regional Oracle Application and Technology Users Group (OATUG) events and Oracle OpenWorld (OOW). He has authored articles for OATUG INSIGHT magazine, as well as co-authored books, "Special Edition Using Oracle Applications" and "Special Edition Using Oracle 11i." and co-authored a book series called Oracle StreetSmartsĀ®.

Bill is a member of the Oracle EBS Applications Technology Group (ATG) Customer Advisory Board (CAB) for Oracle Corporation, former Director on the OATUG Board of Directors (2017-18), Director OATUG Board of Directors (2020-23) serving as President in 2021, Secretary in 2022, and President-Elect in 2023, and President in 2024. Bill continues his Oracle Community advocacy by leading the Eastern States OATUG (ESOATUG), Coordinator of the OATUG Customizations & Alternatives SIG, Board member for East Coast Oracle (ECO), and as an Oracle Applications & Applications Technology ACE Pro awarded by Oracle Corporation. Bill was also honored with the 2016 OATUG Member of the Year.
