Title: Estimate Cloud Requirements Accurately Before you Start the Cloud Database Migration
Presenter: Biju Thomas
Organization: Data Intensity

Summary: Lessons learned from migrating Oracle workloads to OCI cloud. Sometimes when we identify the compute requirements by looking at the workload data, the administrators are skeptical because the CPU requirements identified were lower than they had on-premises. The truth is that you are going to see a performance boost with OCI migration (and infrastructure spending reduction). Learn how to estimate Oracle database and application server requirements, compare the performance before and after migration, and the critical configurations in OCI helping the performance boost.
