Summary: In this day and age, Enterprise Application projects should not be over-complicated. With the advent of Enterprise Applications running on cloud services and on-premise, the tasks required for a successful migration, upgrade, or implementation to Cloud Services are well-defined. This presentation will focus on the project management method used to ensure a successful project. We will review and break down the Conference Room Pilot Method phases, activities, tasks, and work products to support a cloud services migration.

Biographical Sketch: Bill boasts a distinguished career as an Oracle Applications and Technology consultant, with a rich history dating back to 1985. Specializing in Oracle eBusiness Suite Applications since 1991 and Cloud Applications from their inception, he has become a trusted advisor to clients across the US, Canada, and Europe. Bill's expertise spans various consulting and IT roles, where he has spearheaded numerous intricate on-premise and cloud projects.

His influence extends beyond project work; Bill has contributed significantly to the Oracle community. He has shared insights through white papers and workshops at local and regional Oracle Application and Technology Users Group (OATUG) events, as well as Oracle OpenWorld (OOW). Moreover, he has penned articles for OATUG INSIGHT magazine and co-authored renowned books like "Special Edition Using Oracle Applications" and "Special Edition Using Oracle 11i," along with the Oracle StreetSmartsĀ® book series.

Bill's dedication to the Oracle ecosystem is further evidenced by his involvement in various advisory roles. He serves on the Oracle EBS Applications Technology Group (ATG) Customer Advisory Board (CAB) for Oracle Corporation. He has also held directorial positions on the OATUG Board of Directors, including President in 2021, Secretary in 2022, and President-Elect in 2023, culminating in his presidency in 2024. In addition, Bill actively leads the Eastern States OATUG (ESOATUG) and serves as Coordinator of the OATUG Customizations & Alternatives SIG. He is also a board member for East Coast Oracle (ECO) and holds the prestigious title of Oracle Applications & Applications Technology ACE Pro, bestowed by Oracle Corporation. Bill's contributions to the community were recognized with the 2016 OATUG Member of the Year award.
