|Biographical Sketch:||Gary Crisci is an Oracle ACE with 20 years of finance and IT experience, specializing in Oracle Hyperion Solutions software. Gary is a noted expert in the Oracle Essbase field. He has spoken at Oracle OpenWorld, numerous Kscope conferences, and local user group meetings; he is also a co-author of Developing Essbase Applications. During his career, Gary has held various positions as a consultant and industry professional working for top-tier companies such as Siemens, Morgan Stanley, and General Electric. He is the former president of the ODTUG Hyperion SIG, and is now a member of the ODTUG BOD. Gary has an MBA in information systems. His current role is EPM Principal Technologist for General Electric Corporation in Fairfield, Connecticut.|

During this session EPM Principal Technologist and Oracle ACE Gary Crisci will walk through an overview of the GE Exalytics program. He will discuss the business case for Exalytics and the infrastructure, which is made up of 20 Exalytic servers (T5 and X4). He will then go on to discuss the tech stack installed on the platform, how GE is managing the infrastructure, and how GE is consolidating multiple EPM environments to this new shared service. The presentation will wrap up with success stories and performance scorecards showing the gains GE is obtaining from the Exalytics platform.
